Curriculum
The long-term goal for Desert Dragon School is to be a project-based learning space, with students choosing an individual or group project each quarter. Students will present their work to families and the community at the end of each quarter. Upon enrollment, students and families will create an individualized plan with specific short-term and long-term goals in core content areas. Students will work toward set goals utilizing online educational curriculum as well as one-on-one and small-group lessons. We will offer a menu of options for online curriculum that families can choose from.
As we continue to look for an in-person location that meets our needs, we will start out with daily online meetings and weekly in-person project meetings and/or feild trips. Students can join
We will offer a MAP assessment at the beginning and end of the school year to track progress.
